Arnold Andrews during his crowning as Prom King had chocolate syrup poured on his head a la Stephen King’s Carrie. Unfortunately, the large can of syrup was dropped onto his head, killing him instantly. Andrews’ prom date, the witch Katrina, cursed all the prom attendees before running away from home. Enraged, Katrina’s Aunt placed a curse on the grave of Arnold Andrews, which caused him to return as the ghostly Grad.
