Gordie Girby meets Madman when he arrives in Montreal after having intense dreams directing him there. Girby speaks English as Madman encounters citizens who only speak French and assists Madman to the location he wants to go.  Girby then dresses as The Jam as he and Madman enter a surreal dimension seemingly created by famed artist M.C. Escher.
