Scarlet Hawk was created for the Hotspur comic, his first appearance being in issue 362
Originally a criminal known as “The Black Hawk”, the character was later rehabilitated as a hero, and then retooled as “The Scarlet Hawk” retaining his original backstory and continuing his adventures.
