Creative Concept
The Scorpion debuted in a back-up short story in Batman #256, where Bruce Wayne wasn’t inspired by a bat to became a crime fighter, but by a scorpion. Grant Morrison used this concept for the Batman analogue of earth 41, and member of the Nimrod Squad.
Scorpion also is an analogue to Image Comics‘ Shadowhawk.
