Gloria was the first character on panel to reveal herself as a mutant in Amazing Detective Cases #11. In the story she was searching for another mutant to be her mate. Initially she seeing a man named George Timmins believing that he was a mutant like herself. Upon realizing he wasn’t she had his convicted for attempted murder.
Her husband lawyer, Perry Hammond was later revealed to be mutant with the power of intangibility. He claimed that he was going to seek her out and make her his wife. Whether Hammond found Gloria remains to be seen.
