The Wolf Man

Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright.

Larry Talbot has been living in America trying to escape his wealth and make his life his own, he returns to Llanwelly, Wales to reconcile with his father, Sir John Talbot. While there he falls in love with Gwen Conliffe, a local shopkeeper’s daughter and takes her and her friend Jenny to the Gypsy traveling circus. That night Jenny gets attacked by a large wolf and Larry comes to the rescue with a walking stick with a silver wolf’s head handle he bought from Gwen earlier. In the process he is bit. The next day he returns to the circus and speaks to Maleva, a fortuneteller, who sees the “mark of the werewolf” on his palm, a pentagram. She explains that he is cursed to transform into a beast during the full moon and that he will, instinctively seek out the object of his affection.

Larry is in complete denial about the whole event until late one night during the full moon he feels overwhelmed and begins sprouting hair all over his body and goes through a horrific transformation. He wakes up the next morning to news that there was an animal sighted last night attacking livestock with him wearing torn clothing, covered in blood, and muddy foot prints coming in from the open window to his spot in bed.

Years later with nothing more than a death-wish, he seeks out the help of Doctor Frankenstein only to discover the entire castle destroyed and a frozen Monster. Larry unthaws the Monster and they become quick friends both feeling outcast and alone they search for the answers in the ruins of the Frankenstein Manor.
