Origin
Think Tank was assigned to Montana’s Initiative team Freedom Force shortly after Civil War. He helped save people from a burning building, and also fought the Skrulls’ in Secret Invasion (even aiding in killing a teammate who was a Skrull impersonating Equinox).  When the Heavy Hitters seceded from the Initiative because of Norman Osborn‘s new Initiative’s criminal activities, Osborn thought that Freedom Force was the only team in the area organized under Stark’s regime that would follow his orders.  Freedom Force was ordered to capture or kill the Heavy Hitters and Think Tank obeyed the command, even when it meant fighting the Avenger’s Resistance.  Along with a large group of other Initiative members including two of his teammates (the real Equinox and Challenger) he was successful in apprehending the Heavy Hitter Prodigy and Avenger’s Resistance Member Night Thrasher II.      Â
Fear Itself
Commander Steve Rogers informs Prodigy of the unknown meteors that have fallen from the heavens and mass panic is on the horizon. Rogers asks Prodigy to gather heroes on a volunteer basis to help keep the peace and lead a new Initiative where there is no forced conscription or registration. Prodigy agrees to become the leader of the new Initiative and most of the former Initiative members including Think Tank gather in Washington DC. Think Tank would ask Thor Girl if she believed the mystic hammers were of Asgardian origin but she wasn’t sure.
Powers and Abilities
