Thunderer is the only surviving battle-horse of the Old Gods, placed in suspended animation and encased in stone during the destruction of the God World. Billions of years later, the exploring New God Lonar ventured into a hidden ruin on New Genesis, where he found and freed Thunderer, who became Lonar’s companion.
