Major Story Arcs
While on his throne, Thuz is shown Garth and Malu. He immediately lusts for Malu and orders that the two be given aid to recover from their travels. He then plots with his right hand man, Mordo, to dispense with Garth and keep Malu for himself. The men retire to a room in which Thuz can hear what is being said throughout the palace. He hears a servant girl, Selda, inform the “guests” of Thuz’s plans and the two try to escape. Thuz cuts them off and orders them to attend a banquet in their honor.
At the banquet, Thuz tries to poison Garth. Darmo, another servant, warns Malu about the poison. Malu then attempts to get Thuz to drink from the tainted cup. Seeing that his plan has gone amiss, Thuz orders his guards to kill Garth while he tries to physically remove Malu from the room. Garth cuts his way to Malu and then cuts Thuz down.
