Origin
Titus was a black-domed member of the Nova Corps, and operated with Sam Alexander’s father Jesse and Mister Z’zz. In the middle of a battle on the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy, Jesse had to leave to witness the birth of his son, leaving his companions to fight alone. Z’zz was killed in the battle, and Titus lost his right eye and arm to the Chitauri. In a last minute hope to save himself, Titus bargained with the Chitauri, the cargo of their ship for his life. They accepted, and over time Titus rose through the ranks in their army and they in turn rebuilt his body. Titus had vowed that if he ever were to meet Jesse again he would take his revenge.
Creation
Titus was created by Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness, first appearing in Nova #1 during a flashback sequence.
