History
The Russian general known as Toma Zaslon is a publicly known mutant rights activist in a largely anti-mutant corner of her home nation. While secretly a powerful and influential mutant herself, having been operating under the noses of her racist superiors for years on end.
Vehemently opposed to the mutant detainment camps run by her superiors at S.I.C.K.L.E. she would secretly fund and endorse a private militia in the service of mutant protection. All of which was staffed and enforced by a private cadre of armored brigadiers called Titanium Man Mutant-Defense Project, five covert wingmen adorning Titanium Man Armor’s.
This earned the ire of Russia’s peace-keeping organization directer however, who secretly coerced Omega Red into causing a mutant prison jailbreak in order to spin an accident choreographing her unfortunate demise.
While out during a training exercise with her Titanium Man Mutant-Defense Project, Omega Red accompanied by Creed in carrying out the hit. But as the rest of Weapon X team showed up to intervene. The good general tipped her hand by revealing her power over water in all its forms, showing in fact that she was a mutant herself. Before things escalated any further, Creed found a means of brokering a peace between her and his associates.
Sabretooth convinces her to loan them a ship in order to access the Mothercarrier in exchange for deposing and eliminating the corrupt commander who ordered the hit out on her.
Just as Director Rossovich tried making his escape from X-Force and Omega Red, General Toma Zaslon intercepted him. Revealing to her ex-superior that she was a mutant before jettisoning him from a hole in the floating vessel as a form of excommunication for abuse of authority. As the new head of S.I.C.K.L.E. her first order of business was to cease hostilities with the newly christened Weapon X-Force and the Winter Guard dispatched against them.
Declaring the former friends of Russia and letting them go on amicable terms.
Powers & Abilities
Water Form Manipulation
Toma is able to commandeer and alternate water and hydration in all of its forms, be it water, ice, snow, vapor, etc. She regularly uses it to conjure ice based armor around herself and through it, she can fly by manipulating the frozen substance adorned for aviation. She can conjure up blockades of sleet and frost, entrap others in watery domes to drown them in, physically augment herself through various constructs or even create grand eruptions of ice potent enough to rip through reinforced steel.
