Tomsa was the leader of Draka‘s Un-dead special forces, the Carpathian Guards, when he ruled as minister and advisor behind the actions of Vlad the Impaler. Tomsa remained in Transylvania for many years, to monitor Vlatna, waiting for the return of his master. Eventually Vlatna found him and took his eyes, preventing them from regenerating. Not considered a threat, he was left blind, forced to wander and feed off the blood of rats and small animals, until the day he met Harlan and Tesla, who were on the tracks of Vlatna.
