Torr landed on Earth attracted by a radio beam from an Earthly observatory. He approached the observatory and mind swapped with one of the scientists within.
He then traveled to New York with the remaining scientist, explaining as they traveled that he intended to conquer the Earth.
The surviving scientist shot Torr / in the body of his friend, killing Torr’s personality. The Earth man displaced personality then returned and the body was restored. The two scientists reversed direction and headed off to investigate the now lifeless body of Torr.
Creation
Torr was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961 and first appeared in Amazing Adventures # 1.
Powers & Abilities
Torr was resistant to gunfire, extremely strong, telepathic, and able to mind swap by transferring its essence into another body.
