Totrasmek has a sexual obsession with Nafertary, Jungir Khan’s concubine. He gives her a potion inducing madness which she believes is a simple sleep potion for Jungir Khan, the leader of Zamboula. He knows she means to steal the Star of Khorala, a stone in Jungir Khan’s ring that gives the wearer the power to seduce any one of the opposite sex. Totrasmek covets the stone himself and intends to use Nafertary. When Jungir Khan goes mad, she confronts Totrasmek with Conan seeking a cure. Four clay pots break open around Nafertary, revealing cobras eager to strike her. She dances to save her life, and meanwhile Conan, who had been separated from her, rushes in to her rescue and thrusts his sword into Totrasmek.
