The Tri-Animan was originally an android dubbed the Tri-Man created by the Masked Marauder. To increase the android’s power, the Marauder stole three wild animals from a zoo (a gorilla for strength, a cheetah for speed and an alligator for ferocity), then transferred the essences of the beasts into the recreated Tri-Animan. The android was destroyed in a battle against the Werewolf and Iron Man.
