In the story arc Timestorm 2009-2099 Tyler Stone is yet to be revealed as Miguel’s true father, but after a lab accident at Alchemax, the radioactive shockwave infused Miguel’s DNA with a spider he was experimenting on in school, turning Miguel into Spider-Man 2099. And the scorpion, Kron Stone, Tyler’s other son was experimenting on was fused into his DNA creating the monster Scorpion 2099.
