Ubu

Origin

A master assassin and one of Ra’s al Ghul‘s most trusted servants, Ubu is actually a whole tribe of people – as each Ubu dies, another takes his place in an unbroken line of unquestioning, devoted servitude.

Another man to earn the title of Ubu appeared in The Resurrection Of Ra’s Al Ghul, however he proved to be less effective than his predecessors. Not only was he defeated by Nightwing, but ultimately suffered an even further insult to injury, receiving a incapacitating kick to the groin by none other than Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth when he tried to hold the old man hostage.

Ubu makes appearances in comics and in Batman: The Animated Series (1992).

He also apears along side Talia and Ra’s in Batman: The Brave and The Bold: Sidekicks Assemble! (2010)

Ubu is the right hand man of Deathstroke in Son of Batman (2014).
