Early Life
Vala’s earlier life is a mystery. A few thing are known. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Adria. Then at some time she was captured and used has a host by the Goa’uld Qetesh, who ruled with an iron fist. This didn’t last for long as the Tok’ra (good Goa’uld) captured her and extracted the parasite from her. But the people Qetesh ruled didn’t know that and tortured her until she was rescued by the Tok’ra again. At that time she became a criminal.
She quickly became famous and started to make serious plans.
Meeting SG-1
After getting in trouble with the Lucian Alliance, she wanted to pay them of to leave her be, so she set a trap for a ship that happened to be the Earth ship Prometheus. Vala stunned all of the crew except Daniel Jackson. A cat n’ mouse started that was a constant rotation between capture and escape. When finally captured, Vala told Jackson that she wanted to use the ship to save her people but he figured out her true plan when he met the buyers, Vala had organized. Daniel figured it out before the deal was completed. Together, they escaped from them but she escaped before she could be held accountable for her acts.
