Wheelie saved Varta from some Decepticons who’d become stranded on the same planet as both Wheelie and Varta. The two quickly became friends and tried to make the best of their situation as they waited for the possibility of rescue.
Varta has a translator around his neck that allows him to understand Wheelie. However, Varta’s species seems to talk in rhyme, and so Wheelie is required to do so as well for the translator device to properly understand him.
Powers & Abilities
Varta is an alien shape-shifter. So far this ability has been shown to allow him to increase his size in order to be more ferocious and intimidating. It’s uncertain whether Varta actually gains any additional mass as he increases in size, or if he can shape-shift in any other particular ways.
