Origin
Born and raised in Far Madding, Verin was exiled from her home and sent to study at the White Tower in Tar Valon when her ability to channel became apparent. She spent five years as a Novice and six as Accepted before being raised full Aes Sedai, choosing the Brown Ajah. At some point she began looking into the Black Ajah, and was compelled to join or die.Â
Creation
Verin was originally created by Robert Jordan for his book series The Wheel of Time, making her first appearance in the second book in the series, The Great Hunt. She made her first comic appearance in Wheel of Time: New Spring #4, written by Jordan and Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Mike Miller.  Â

Verin is an Aes Sedai who gives some classes to the Novices and Accepted residing in the Tower. She is looked upon fondly by Moiraine Damodred and Siuan Sanche. Â
Powers and Abilities
Verin is a channeler of fair strength. She is gifted at Delving, and fairly experienced at Cloud Dancing. As a channeler, her lifespan is greatly expanded compared to regular humans. Though an Aes Sedai, she was released from the Three Oaths by her Oaths to the Dark One; their effect on her potential longevity are unknown. She is very intelligent, and knows a great deal about many different subjects.
