Cell has been gone for years now and the world has been at peace ever since. The world still worships Videl’s father for having defeated Cell. Videl has taken to training and has become a strong martial artist for someone who doesn’t know about manipulating her ki. She has even become stronger than her father, though most don’t believe it. Videl uses her skills to help protect the city from crime, but she soon gets competition has town hero when the Great Saiyaman shows up. Videl quickly discovers that the Great Saiyaman is her classmate, Gohan.

Videl used this knowledge to blackmail Gohan into training her. The first thing that Gohan taught her was the ability to fly, just like him. The two became really close and started training together to enter the World Martial Arts Tournament. During the Tournament, Videl realized that it was Gohan who had defeated Cell and not her father. During the tournament, Videl is badly beaten by a guy with a “M” symbol on his head. The two ganged up on Gohan and stole his energy and flew off.

Videl later helped find the Dragonballs with some of Gohan’s friends so the y could wish back the people Vegeta killed. But when Buu later escaped from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he turned Videl into candy along with most of the Z-Fighters. Videl was wished back to life along with the Earth by the Namekian Dragonballs. Videl eventually married Gohan and they had a daughter together named Pan.

Powers & Abilities

Originally, Videl was a highly trained fighter, and was one of the strongest “baseline normals” on the planet. Her strength, speed and endurance could be considered peak human, as she was among the top 4 fighters in the world, excluding the human fighters of the Z Squad (Master Roshi, Yamcha, Tien and Krillin). She was regularly called upon (instead of her father, the phony Mr. Hercule), to stop hijackings, robberies and public crime events by the authorities, even as a teenager.

Once she trained with Gohan, Videl displayed low-level superhuman speed, agility and strength. Gohan also taught her to control her ki and use it to hover or fly. She is very intelligent and often has good advice for tactics in combat, but does not come close to the power levels of the other human fighters on the Z Squad. In dragon ball xenoverse, Videl can project her energy in the form of an offensive blast.
