Vladimir Zaitsev is a Russian drug lord who framed the bounty hunter O.Z. Chase for killing his men, even though he’d murdered them himself.
Later Wolverine, Dazzler, O.Z. Chase and Henry Gyrich worked together to bring Zaitsev down. Zaitsev was killed by O.Z. Chase’s dog, Cerberus. Frustrating Gyeich who had hoped to install Zaitsev as a sleeper agent within the Russian establishment.
