Petra Gomez began her superhero career as a sharpshooter named Gunner. She soon formed a team based on Youngblood, capitalizing on its name recognition and reinventing herself as an updated take on original Youngblood member Vogue. She later allied with other heroes also reinventions of previous Youngblood members and found allies in old Youngblood members Badrock and Shaft.
