Volk was from a gypsy family raised in Russia during World War 2. His family tried to escape to Switzerland through Germany but were caught by Nazi’s and executed on the spot. Volk was heavily injured but barely escaped with his life. He was found and raised by wolves until he was strong and old enough to go out on his own. He then came to Hub City and survived by running illegal gambling operations. Later on he was plagued by nightmares and images of wolves and decided to dismantle his operations an inform on his associates.
