Volo

Origin

Volo was one of the many Visigoths born into slavery on The Vine planet Loam. He was seen as one of the leaders of the Visigoth slaves and escaped to Earth with his people when they were freed by Aric. Once on Earth, Volo took control of a Vine armour and helped defend his people against the Russian Army. Volo unsuccessfully tried to take leadership of The Visigoths away from Aric but Aric defeated him even without the X-O Manowar armour. Volo now acts as Aric’s right hand man.

Creation

Volo was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Lee Garbett. He first appeared in X-O Manowar #15 (Jul. 2013).
