Vooda

Origin

El’nee was a native of an island in the Pacific known as the Vanishing Island, she protected her island and her people from a series of invaders and raiders.

 

While El’nee, or as she was sometimes called Alani or Vooda, had not extrarodanry abilies, she was so at home in the sea that she could spend hours in it with ease, and was so adapt in it’s ways that even the largest shark would fall to her knife.

 

Creator

A pretty typical jungle princess save for the fantastic art by Matt Baker and her being situated on a South Pacific island.

This character first appeared in 1946 in South Sea Comis as Alani the South Sea Girl, later the stories were reused with a name change as El’nee.
