Vorzen is from the planet Urmateh and is the leader of the leading mining clan on the planet. Vorzen took place in the auction of the Gleambody and won a piece for himself at the price of twenty generations of their crystal well profits.
He brought the piece back to his planet in order for him and the other leaders to feast on it as reward for their recent profitable endeavors. Vorzen is in severe pain after the first bite. This transforms him and he now has a mission to defeat the Uni-Lord. He flies into space and joins the Silver Skyriders.
When he engages in battle with the Black Surfer his arm is cut off. He soon learns that he has the power to regenerate this arm. The Black Surfer retreats and the Skyriders follow.
In their next encounter with the Black Surfer in it’s Blackbody form, Vorzen’s power is stripped from him along with all the other Skyriders.
He stands by and watches along with Vartu as the true Silver Surfer battles him.
