Vrykos was a vampiric servant of the dark lord Mordru. He acted as the wizard’s right hand man, and was willing to fight valiantly for him, although he sometimes questioned his master’s leadership. In a conflict with the Legion of Super-Heroes on Tharn, Vrykos took Mysa Nal hostage believing her to be harmless in an emotionally comatose state. However, his cruel words were exactly what she needed to push her over the edge, and she recovered and obliterated him with her magic.
