During a mission for Project Cadmus, Theresa Shane managed to unveil a genetic manipulation ring. Not wanting to have his work exposed to the public, the lead scientist had her captured. He carried out experiments on her, merging her DNA with that of an exotic bird.
She is currently a member of the Mighty Crusaders.
