Dead Reckoning

War-Wolf was a cyborg created by Major Simon Ryker, as part of his plan to create cyborg super-soldiers and achieve immortality. When Luther Manning, who Ryker had turned into the dangerous super-soldier Deathlok, tracked down Ryker in search of his captured friend Mike Travers, Ryker ordered War-Wolf to destroy Deathlok. Ryker claimed that he had turned Travers into War-Wolf, and Deathlok was reluctant to kill his friend, giving War-Wolf the edge in combat. After Ryker was certain that War-Wolf would win, he foolishly chose to gloat, telling Deathlok that he had lied about Travers being War-Wolf and Travers had died on the operating table. No longer concerned with saving his friend and consumed with rage, Deathlok tackled War-Wolf out the window of the compound and killed him.

In the modern-day timeline, a similar Warwolf was created by Harlan Ryker and Cybertek. After Deathlok and S.H.I.E.L.D. got Ryker arrested, Ryker sent the Warwolf to destroy evidence that would be used against him, and kill eyewitnesses. The Warwolf killed Roxxon employee Billy Hansen and broke into the NSA to destroy evidence files. It then attacked a Roxxon holding facility, where it fought Deathlok. It escaped, and Deathlok pursued it to a federal penitentiary, where Deathlok stopped it from killing several other Cybertek employees scheduled to testify. Damage to Warwolf’s plasma weapons caused it to overheat, and Deathlok used his own plasma weapon to overload Warwolf, leading to massive mechanical failure. Deathlok then killed the wolf brain within the cyborg to put it out of its misery.

He had incredibly combat instincts and reflexes. According to Ryker had a database of Deathlok’s abilities that allowed him to predict Deathlok’s actions, but this claim was based off of the false claim that War-Wolf had the mind of Mike Travers, so the reality of this database is dubious.
