Originally from Cuba, Sarita was raised in New York City by her father. He was a mechanic and named his garage “Seven Daughters” after his children, Sarita being the youngest. Her mother died in childbirth but she had a Santeria practitioner named Magdalena to look up to. Not heeding Magdalena one night, Sarita went to a dance club with a man named Dave. He was actually a vampire and turned Sarita into one of his “brides.” Now called Whipsnake (sometimes simply Snake), she joined with the four other vampire women in killing Dave. The five rode with each other after that, with Whipsnake as the group’s mechanic.Â
