Whisky Jill walks into the town Deliverance with a trench coat on and a surfboard in her hand. She rolls her eyes at the town’s name and then steps into a bar. When the barkeep shuffles off to get her an energy drink, the rest of the bar confronts Jill, as she has taken off her trench coat to reveal that she is only wearing a bikini. The room gets handsy and Jill beats each person up. The barkeep returns with her drink and she walks out sipping it.

Jill Besting the Colonel

A boy runs up to her and collapses in her arms while asking for help. He is Rod McCloud and he is being pursued by Colonel Hawkins and his posse. The man demands the boy but Jill takes out her whip and strikes the gun out of the Colonel’s hand. She makes the horses rear up and then bolt when the gun lands on the ground and fires. The Colonel falls from his horse and Jill hits him with her whip, knocking him unconscious. She then rushes to Rod and takes him out of town.

Jill takes Rod to a pool of water and lets him rest while she bathes. Once he wakes up, the two head out and find a deserted house. They rest there for a bit but find that they have been discovered, both by Colonel Hawkins gang and the Marshall, a deranged ex-minister bent on killing Jill. Jill comes up with a plan: Rod uses a bellows to blow flour dust in the air and the two escape out a side window. The Colonel’s gang barges in to find the house empty. Jill’s magic is present, however, and a shot from the Marshall’s sniper rifle sends the house up in a fiery explosion. She and Rod ride away to the curses of the Colonel.

While the two ride through the desert, Jill realizes that she forgot all their gear back at the house. She is angry with herself and figures the two will die of thirst. She is amazed when Rod takes her surfboard and begins digging – and finding – water. She learns that he just might be the one she’s been searching for in her own personal journeyings.

The two later find a campfire and Jill convinces Rod to approach it and ask the three men for supplies. He does so and she sneaks around to rummage through their supplies. It becomes quite evident that the men are crazy. She sneaks out and saves Rod just in time, as the leader was about to kill Rod so as to eat him and stave off the impending apocalypse. Jill then kills the other two men as they rush her. She is deeply saddened by these actions and she and Rod move on after stripping the camp of anything useful.

Once in Saltwater, Jill’s hometown, she introduces Rod to the local salt miners – the best men in the world, according to her. She leaves Rod with the miners and heads out with Sheriff Hills to help a woman deliver a baby.

In the middle of the delivery, the Marshall catches up with Jill. He has Rod as a hostage and demands Jill be outside by the count of three. She makes it and seems to be holding the newly born baby as a shield. She asks Rod what she should do and he chokes out that she should beat the Marshall. She throws the baby into the air (it’s not a real baby) and springs into action. As the Marshall looks up, Whisky Jill whips the gun from his hand. She urges Rod to run and she does the same; she grabs her surfboard and runs to a mountain just outside of town and the Marshall pursues.

Jill does her best to taunt the Marshall. She leads him to her home – a pirate ship – and then leads him down a ravine where he trips a canon booby trap. She then invites him to come a bit further. She climbs a tall rock formation and awaits the Marshall. He finally emerges and she slides down the rock on her surfboard and into the Marshall. She then attempts to hit him with her whip, but he takes it from her and punches her. She notices her friend Redfeather in the shadows and shouts for aid. An arrow hits the Marshall’s rifle as he shoots and the bullet ricochets off the mountain walls. Jill scrambles over a cliff and uses her whip to hang while a boulder crashes down on the Marshall and over the edge. She crawls up and sees that Redfeather has left. Jill returns to town.

Jill prepares to leave town while Rod gets his shackles taken off by the blacksmith. She sees a brand on his back. After they leave town, Jill and Rod build a campfire and Jill takes off Rod’s shirt. She asks about the brand, as it seems to have some significance. She then kisses the brand and chides Rod for getting weirded out by her menial affection. She then jumps in his bed and spoons him – using the excuse that he has the only ground pad.

The next day Jill and Rod meet up with Redfeather. They set up camp and Jill head out to find some firewood. She runs into Grandmother Arrow and admits that she has found the Great Diviner. The women bicker for a moment until they hear a scuffle. They rush into camp and find Redfeather hurt and Rod missing. Grandmother Arrow warns Jill that the preacher man is still alive and getting Rod back will be Jill’s last test into becoming a true Hawaiian witch. Jill leaves.

Jill finds Rod tied to a tree and she attempts to rescue him. The Marshall takes her captive and ties her to her surfboard in a manner like a crucifixion. He places her in a gulch and orders her to accept Jesus but she responds that she answers to a higher power. Just then it begins to rain and a wave crashes through the gulch. The Marshall is killed and Jill is set free. She is jubilant at finally finding what she has been searching for – a wave in the desert.

After her ride, Jill finds Rod still tied to the tree. She kisses him and then tells him she’ll be back. She rides her surfboard into the sky.
