William Crook

William Crook was born c.1830. Very little is known about him, except that he was married to Sarah Annie Crook, and they had at least one child, a daughter named Annie Crook. Annie was alleged by her grandson, Joseph Gorman, to have secretly married Prince Albert Victor and borne a child by him, her daughter Alice Crook. Later in her life, Alice claimed that her father was named William Crook, and some have claimed this as proof that she was the product of an incestuous union between William and his daughter. There is no known evidence for or against this claim.  
 
William died in 1891, at the age of 61.
