William is the son of Tigra and is named after her late husband. He was conceived when the skrull Criti Noll was impersonating Hank Pym and had an affair with Tigra. She gave birth to him before the Dark Reign. Knowing how Norman Osborn would want William as test subject, Tigra left him in the care of the Cat People who she got her powers from. During the Heroic Age, Tigra got William back and promised to make the world a safer place for him. Hank Pym revealed that William is genetically the son of Tigra and Hank Pym because Criti Noll’s transformation into Hank Pym was perfect down to a genetic level.
