Wit Congar

Origin

Born into the well-known Congar family, Wit was raised in the Two Rivers. He married Daise Congar as a young man. He is known around town as a layabout who is controlled by his domineering wife. 

Creation

Wit was created by Robert Jordan for his book series The Wheel of Time, making his first appearance in the first book in the series, The Eye of the World. He made his first appearance in comics in Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time: Eye of the World #1, written by Jordan and Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Chase Conley.  

Major Story Arcs

The Eye of the World

Wit encounters Tam al’Thor and Rand al’Thor, who are just entering the town. He complains to Tam about the Wisdom, Nynaeve al’Meara. This draws the displeasure of his wife, who does not approve of him meddling in Women’s Circle business. He is later sent to purchase pins from Padan Fain.
