Willie Dance was a champion wrestler but a he had a brain clot that made him dull witted .He retired due to his condition .Months later while working out he accidently broke a wall down that lead into a office that was being used by Luke Cage .Getting into a tussel with him Willie was losing until his manager broke up the one-sided battle .He decided to return to the ring as X the Marvel but his manager said no.Upset he found a cylinder in a box (  that was hidden by Bruno Murphy who was hiding from the cops ) and drank it thinking  it was a energy drink. Suddenly all his fat disappeared and was replaced with muscles .Remembering the battle with Powerman , X the Marvel attacked him again.During the battle his manager got injured and willie stopped fighting and left  with him in a ambulance ,his powers somehow faded .
