Xiba

Origin

Xiba is the child of the legendary fighters, Kilik and Xianghua. When Xianghua returned to her homeland of China, she was forced into an arranged marriage by her grandfather, Worried for her sons future, she asked her own father Mast Kong Xiuqiang to look after the boy. Kong Xiuqiang would teach the growing boy Ling-Sheng Su Secret Arts of the Rod, a staff based fighting martial arts. They would spend much time isolated in the mountains training, specifically Zhen Hang Mountain. Although he would become very gifted and skilled with a staff and attuned to nature and his own senses, Xiba would struggle with society and its ideas and so appear a bit feral in nature and attitude. A bit naive and sheltered, he approaches others with a pure and kind heart.

He would eventually become to befriend several other skilled fighters, Natsu, student of Taki, Leixia (who is actually his half sister) and Maxi. He would also be on a quest to find Kali-Yuga, a legendary staff and treasure.

Creation

Xiba is fictional character created for the Soul Calibur franchise, created by Bandai Namco. The feral fighter first appeared in Soul Calibur V and his design is attributed to Takuji Kawano and Daishi Odashima.
