Yagar is the leader of the Split-Second Squad. He is one of the few members who have seen a dimensional gate open and fought alien invaders. He has the scars to prove it and has an artificial heart which greatly improves his stamina.

He works closely with Commander Hazard. He is a by-the-book leader which is why he often has disagreements with Alec Wagner.
