Young El first appears in Robin #25 when he shoot’s Tim Drake’s classmates, Karl Ranck. Karl and Young El both pulled guns in the school, the difference being that Karl’s shot missed, and Young El’s did not. Robin then hunts down Young El in Robin #26, with the aid of Spoiler. Batman shows up and tells Young El to go to the ninth precinct and turn himself in.
