Yuko and Ayumu were best friends before the manga even started. On the days before the test, she decided to help Ayumu by giving her the notes for the high school entrance exams, which she began her downward spiral for her performance. On the day of the results, her true self was revealed, and crushed Ayumu’s feelings along with their friendship. Her first name was only revealed in the first episode of the J-Drama version of the story.
