Origin
Yuzuriha Nekoi was born in Chichibu at Mitsumine Shrine. By her destiny to be a Dragons of Heaven and linked with Mitsumine Shrine, an inugami was born at the same moment as Yuzuriha’s birth. She grown with it; but no one could see it at the great despair of Yuzuriha. By this specificity, Yuzuhira was annoyed by her comrades.
An Angel and a Seal
Years past, her grand-mother tells Yuzuriha that the time has come for her to join the Seven Seals at the Diet Building. Kamui is scarcely arrived to before a man tries to pick her up. Yuzuriha became a smart teenager and she is quick at repartee. She refused telling him she can only date with someone who can see Inuki. Yuzuriha thinks about her behavior when a person will see her Inugami. She thinks she will fall in love with this person. And this happened few minutes after her thought. Indeed Kusanagi Shiyu meets her and says hello to Inuki telling Yuzuriha it is a strange but good dog. Yuzuriha falls in tears in the arms of Kusanagi.
When Yuzuriha finished crying, they introduce themselves and joke about their names. Kusanagi explains he is a soldier at Ichigaya whereas Yuzuriha explains that Kusanagi is the first person who can see Inuki. Others think she is a liar. Kusanagi replies that to have a special ability could bring pains but it could also bring joys. He reveals that he has the ability to understand the fauna and the flora. Yuzuriha is happy to see a special person like her; but she doesn’t do the link between Kusanagi and the dragons. She must left him because she has people to see at the .On the way she meets Seiichiro Aoki who sees also Inuki. She introduces himself as one of the seven seals and lets to her a visit card.
Meet the Other Seals
Yuzuriha arrives at the ; but she doesn’t find how to join Hinoto. So she sends Inuki. Few minutes after, Hien and Sohi come and bring her to Hinoto. She’s a fourteen-year-old teenage who introduces herself as Yuzuriha Nekoi from Mitsumine Shrine. She apologizes to send Inuki, his Inugami; but she didn’t find the way to get down. She asks everyone to introduce themselves. They do it, except Kamui Shiro. It is Sorata Arisugawa who introduces Kamui. Yuzuriha teases Kamui. Kamui decides to leave. He says he isn’t concerned by the “Jour de la Promesse”. Daisuke Saiki upset provokes Kamui. They begin a fight when everyone falls in an illusion created by one of the Seven Angels. Arashi Kishu uses her saber, Sorata his electric powers and Yuzuriha transforms Inuki into a sword. Kamui, upset by this loss of time, uses his telekinetic powers to destroy this illusion. This mirage breaks into cherry tree petals. Hinoto concludes that the illusion was created by the sakurazukamori.
This event gives way to a massive earthquake meaning the destruction of a kekkai in . Hinoto explains that this destruction is one of the signs of the destruction of . Hinoto begs Kamui to become a seal and with the help of the other dragons of Heaven to save the Earth. Kamui, exasperated, leave the distressing Hinoto. Sorata reassures her telling her that Kamui has still something to protect. Whereas Sorata, Arashi and Yuzuriha discuss about the other seals, Kamui thinks about his destiny.
Incapacity to Help
Yuzuhira and Daisuke have an appointment with Seiichiro when the Sun plaza is destroyed. They decide to join decide quickly Seiichiro. Daisuke and Yuzuhira arrive at Yasukuni Shrine. Seiichiro join them. Yuzuhira and Seiichiro tease Daisuke. Moreover, Seiichiro reveals he is Daisuke’s uncle. Daisuke brings them back to a serious discussion and talks about the last destroyed kekkai.When Fuma Mono becomes the Kamui of the Earth, the seven seals feel it. Yuzuhira and Seiichiro decide to go at the Clamp School. After killing his sister Kotori Mono, Fuma wants to kill Kamui. Fuma tries to retire the Sacred Sword. But Kakyo Kusumi takes possession of Kotori’s corpse and stops him. Kotori doesn’t want her brother to kill Kamui. Arashi, Sorata, Yuzuhira, Inuki, Subaru Sumeragi, Seiichiro and Daisuke arrive and see this awful scene. Fuma dismembers his sister and runs away without the sacred sword. Kamui doesn’t support the situation.
Yuzuriha only can stay with seals. It’s Subaru who succeeds to bring back Kamui. Kotori was buried inside . Kamui remembers his old memories in front of Kotori’s grave. Sorata arrives, hugs Kamui and tries to comfort him. The other seals do their appearance, even Karen Kasumi. Karen introduces herself to Kamui. She delivers him Tokiko Magami‘s message: to bring the sacred sword at the heart of . It is at this moment that [[Nokoru Imonoyama:char:43378], Akira Iyuin and Suo Takamura do their appearance. They will show them the emplacement to protect the sacred sword.Nokoru, Akira, Suo and the seven seals arrive at a fountain in the center of . Nokoru asks Kamui to put his hand on the symbol of the school. Kamui does it and a secret passage is opened. Yuzuriha sees Kamui seals the sacred sword whereas Nataku steals the other one to bring it to Fuma.
The Promise
Three month had past since the seal of the sacred sword, but Kamui still has nightmare about the events happened after his return. Kamui lives with Sorata, Arashi and Yuzuriha. They go to .Sunshine 60 is destroyed and Subaru is wounded under the eyes of Kamui. Yuzuriha is sad because she never be at the right place to help Kamui. Yuzuriha stays at Subaru’s bedside. She begs his pardon to be not there when he fought Fuma. Subaru responds it was his fault because he’s selfish and he doesn’t care of others. Yuzuriha doesn’t believe that, she thinks he’s a good person. She made him the promise to call her when he will need help. He accepts. Yuzuriha is happy to have met such good persons at .
Defeat
Yuzuriha must leave because she has a rendezvous. She runs and she knocks into Fuma. She finds in him a lovely person who looks like Kusanagi. Inuki disagree with her and growls. Kusanagi arrives and apologizes to be late. She was also late, so it is not important. She explains she met a man who looks like him. Kusanagi replies he knows someone who looks like everyone in order to play the role the other decides. At this moment, Beast attacks a kekkai. Yuzuhira decides to let Kusanagi in order to protect citizens. She creates a kekkai and the fight will begin soon.
Yuzuriha is wondering where could be the angel responsible of this earthquake. Through Beast, Satsuki Yatoji sees Yuzuriha attacking with Inuki electrical cables and decides to have a talk with her. By the intermediary of a giant screen, Satsuki introduces herself as one of the Dragons of Earth. Yuzuriha asks her why she accepts to destroy buildings where people are. Satsuki returns the question saying why not killing people. She thinks human being is an animal like others. Because he is superior to others, he can kill everything he wants. But angels are superior to humans. So why cannot she kill people? Yuzuriha doesn’t find any answer. Satsuki attacks her, but Inuki sacrifice itself in order to protect Yuzuriha. She doesn’t support this sacrifice, tears in tears and faints. The kekkai is dissipated. Hopefully, Kusanagi is there to rescue her.
Feelings
Yuzuriha wakes up at the military where Kusanagi brought her. She asks for Shinjuku. Kusanagi responds that Shinjuku is completely destroyed. Yuzuriha cries because she thinks she is responsible of the death of Inuki and the destruction of Shinjuku. She didn’t answer, so they died. Kusanagi says she is the answer: People would cry if people are killed. He proposes her to take a rest and stays with her.Near Tokyo Tower, Kusanagi is also worried about Yuzuriha. She is happy of her clothes bought by Kusanagi because it is gift by the person she loves. She understands she is too young to be loved by him; but she wants to know more about him. He is glad of that and agrees to know more about each other. Yuzuriha must leave and join the other seals. Kusanagi is disoriented because is a dragon of Earth whereas Yuzuriha is a dragon of Heaven.
Victory
Yuzuriha meets once again Fuma. She understands quickly he is one of the dragons of Earth when he attacks a kekkai. She decides to protect people by the creation of a kekkai. Fuma is curious and wants to test Yuzuriha. He attacks but lets Yuzuriha dodges it. He sees in her mind that she wants to live. He tells her she must live if she wants to protect people. He wants to sees if her wish is sincere and tries to kill her. At this moment, a huge telekinetic attack saves Yuzuriha. It is Kamui who launched it. Kamui takes the advantage on Fuma; but his wish to not kill Fuma reverse it. Fuma tries to kill Kamui. Yuzuriha, upset to see people dying wants to be stronger. Her wish is so sincere that an Inugami born to help her. Fuma is amused to see that and decides to run away. Yuzuriha introduces the Inugami to Kamui as Inuki. She cancels her kekkai.
Attacks
Yuzuriha, Kamui, Arashi and Sorata go to the to see Hinoto. Yuzuriha tries to introduce Inuki; but the inugami barks at her. Yuzuriha, Sorata and Arashi don’t understand whereas Kamui thinks it confirms there is something wrong with Hinoto. Hinoto reveals the next target: Yasukuni Shrine. Arrived there, Sorata creates a kekkai despairing Kamui who cannot create one. Arashi, Yuzuriha, Sorata and Kamui are worried to not see any angels when they feel the creation of a kekkai. Kamui decides to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Sorata advises him to go with someone. So Arashi and Kamui go to rescue Subaru whereas Yuzuriha and Sorata stay at the Yasukuni Shrine. The is destroyed and Subaru completely depressed. Even if it isn’t a moment to joke, Sorata continues to tease Arashi. Nokoru put the conversation in a serious way. He explains that it is impossible to know the next target; because if they go to a kekkai, Fuma will learn by the intermediary of his Yumemi and will attack another one. Sorata to separate in three groups of two: Arashi / Yuzuriha, Sorata / Kamui, Karen / Seiichiro. Kakyo learns that through his dream and tells Fuma that the dragons of Heaven will go at Inokashira and .
At Inokashira, Yuzuriha asks Arashi if she loves Sorata. Arashi is confused. Yuzuriha explains that Arashi has the same gaze on Sorata as her on Kusanagi. Arashi hasn’t the time to answer because an angel attacks the place not so far. Arashi creates a kekkai around Inogashira. Kamui and Sorata feel it. Beast attacks Yuzuriha and Arashi. They dodge each attack. But Yuzuriha stumbles and Beast continues to attack her. At this moment Inuki transforms itself in a huge shield in order to protect Yuzuriha. Then it transforms itself in a sword which permits to Yuzuriha to attack electrical cables. Satsuki is surprised to see a reincarnated Inuki, but she doesn’t care because major party of the Earth will be destroyed. Satsuki let Beast finish the work whereas she goes with Yuto Kigai. Beast launches a huge attack in order to achieve Arashi. But a gohodoji appears and receives the attack instead. Kamui arrives with a badly wounded Sorata. Arashi understands that the Ghodoji belongs to Sorata. Arashi doesn’t support this scene. Sorata is happy to see Arashi healthy. Kamui requires Arashi to cancel her kekkai in order to help Sorata. She does it.Yuzuriha and Kamui go to see Sorata. Sorata gets out of his bedroom completely worried. He didn’t find Arashi anywhere. In fact, Arashi left the dragons of Heaven because she lost her powers.
Jour de la Promesse
The “jour de la Promesse” arrives when Kamui unseals the sacred sword. Yuzuriha is ready to the final war, encourages him and stays with Kamui in order to fight the seven angels.
