Carter Hall finds a Lemurian survivor encased in amber. The Lemurian survivor electrocutes Dr. Kliburn and kidnaps Shiera Hall from hr home. Hawkman finds the burned body of Kliburn and a broken vase in his study. Hawkman signals for help and the heroes, Wildcat and Power Girl respond. The retired Hourman and Superman also respond to Hawkman’s signal. Zanadu, who has taken Shiera Hall to an island outside Tokyo, begins to let loose the forces of chaos on the island inhabitants. Zanadu encases Superman within hardened lava while Power Girl sinks within the volcanic rock.
