Devils and Deaths
Zora is one of the top warriors in the Agrami Grendel clan. When a monster starts harassing the local townsfolk, her General, Vlado, asks her to kill it. However, another Grendel, Drago, asks if he can go instead, since he is dying of radiation poisoning anyway.
Vlado agrees, but sends Zora after the monster, and Drago, anyway. Frustrated with Drago, she plans to kill him. However, he knows she’s after him, and leaves her tracking device in an abandoned building. She falls through a rotting floor and hurts herself, but binds up her wounds and finds Drago and the monster. It’s actually friendly, but she attacks it with her laser sword anyway. It goes berserk and kills her. Drago then kills the wounded monster out of mercy.
