In the future of Batman Beyond, Koru is the son of Ubu, and the right hand of Damian Wayne in much the same way that his father was the right hand of Ra’s al Ghul. Ubu’s many defeats at the hands of Batman caused the League of Assassins to shun him, and he ultimately took his own life out of shame. As a result, Koru nurses a grudge against Bruce Wayne and seeks to redeem his father’s honor by killing Bruce.
