Creation

Margaret “Maggie” was created for the TV series “Falling Skies”. She first appeared in the second episode of the first season and was played by the actress Sarah Carter.
She was introduced as a member of John Pope‘s Gang but after the 2nd Mass showed up, she betrayed the Gang and joined the 2nd Mass after she killed John Popes brother Billy and another member of his group. Now, Maggie is a fighter for the 2nd Mass, with excellent weaponry skills.
Pre-Invasion
Not that much is known about Maggies past. Back when she was 16, an unknown type of cancer was diagnosed. The doctors given her a 50/50 chance to live. After a lot of chemo she survived the cancer.
Falling Skies (Season One)
Maggie is now a member of John Popes gang. After Popes gang taken Tom Mason, Hal Mason, Dai and other members of the 2nd Mass hostage, Maggie was tasked with escortin a hooded Hal out of the hideout so he could return to the 2nd Mass with the gang’s demands for releasing the remaining members. Hal tried to disarm Maggie but she demonstrated her skills by quickly subduing Hal.
Later, Maggie hat a change of heart: She betrayed “her” gang and killed the brother of John Pope and his friend Cueball. It is revealed that Billy had sexually abused her sind her first encountering with Popes gang.
After that, Maggie became an important member of the 2nd Mass. She formed a friendly relationship with a pregnant woman named Sarah and also with Anne Glass, Tom, Hal and Jimmy Boland. At the finale of season one, Maggie was one of the few remaining fighters of the 2nd Mass who fights against the Mechs.
Falling Skies: The Battle of Fitchburg (comics)
After the fight at the school, the 2nd Mass traveled to Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Their the fight against a lot of Skitters and Mechs. Most of the 2nd Mass members died at Fitchburg. Maggie was one of the survivors.
Falling Skies (Season Two)
In the second season of the TV series, Maggie and Hal became very close friends and were seen flirting with each other. After Jimmy died as a result of his wounds (he was badly wounded on a mission), she was attending his funeral.
