Mother of psychopath and megalomaniac, Maxwell Lord, Naomi was introduced to her soon to be husband, Cyrus Lord by Booster Gold. The hero introduced the two inadvertently when he was searching for Rani in WWII. Naomi, who was a nurse at the time, helped Cyrus and Booster recover from injuries.
Though she is a kind and gentle woman during that era, later she is shown as a harder, more stern parent figure to Max. She berates him for not being good enough and pushes him to be a great man like his father. She made a large impact on Max’s life and not in a good way.
