Clawster led a faction from Warworld. Clawster is an extremely durable rock-like being. This group of outcasts who lived under the streets of Metropolis repaired and used machines from Warworld to conquer Underworld. When they take over an underground power station and threaten Lois Lane, it is brought to Superman‘s knowledge. After Superman puts a grenade in Clawster’s mouth, Clawster is later detained at the scientific facility, Project Cadmus. Clawster would eventually free himself, and him and several of his outcast allies encounter Doomsday. Doomsday kills part of the group, Clawster survives.
Supergirl and Dan Turpin go and investigate under Metropolis with Lex Luthor guiding Supergirl along the way. They end up battling Clawster and his society of outcasts. Supergirl wrongly believes it was the Underworlders who were responsible for stealing Superman’s body. Clawster’s allies and clones become ill at some point. After that, they arm themselves with the Toastmaster rifles, the weapons made by AmerTek. Clawster would lead an attack on Metropolis, and injures Cadmus operative Guardian along the way. Director of Cadmus, Paul Westfield, tries to murder Clawster and his outcast society with missiles but Superman puts a stop to this.

Clawster’s body has sharp, bony spikes back, skull, ribs, and knuckles. They can be used offensively and defensively. Clawster is not very smart. He ruled through instinct.
