Origin
Adam is oldest of the three brothers Hoss and Little Joe. His father is Benjamin Cartwright. Adam is the most intelligent of the three brothers. His mother (Ben’s first wife) died in a horse accident.
Creation
In the hugely popular television show Adam was played by Pernell Roberts.
