Origin
In 402 A.D., members of the alien race The Vine arrived on Earth. They left behind genetically modified offspring that look human. In time these hybrid members of The Vine found each other and began increasing their numbers. Alexander Dorian is one of the new generation of Vine who were born on Earth. Being used to the luxuries of life on this planet, when Dorian discovered a Vine invasion was on its way to destroy Earth, he became a traitor to his own race and made an alliance with X-O Manowar and Ninjak to save our world.
Creation
Alexander Dorian was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord. He first appeared in the story “Then and Now” in X-O Manowar #4 (Aug. 2012).
