History

Reboot; Earth-247

This Academy was established not by the Legion, but by their governing authority: the United Planets. As such, any world could send candidates for training. Quite a while later, they made good on the promise to establish a training fund and established the Legion Cadet Program. Among these cadets were Amp Girl herself, Polar Boy, Comet Queen, Babbage, and Retro. When the Legion was largely out of commission, Chuck Taine called in the Legion Cadets for help.

Power and Abilities

Ming Sul has superhumanly amplified reflexes, strength, sight, scent and hearing.

Equipment

As member of the Legion Cadet Program, Amp Girl is allowed the use of a Legion Flight Ring. The ring gives its wearer the ability to fly, the speed and range of which is determined by the wearer’s willpower. It also acts as a long-range communicator (enabling constant vocal contact with other Legionnaires, even across vast distances of space), a signal device, and a navigational compass, all powered by a micro-computer built inside the ring.
